Andrea Sarcos

Andrea Sarcos was born in Caracas, Venezuela (1992). She is based between Boca Raton and Miami, Florida. Her photography journey began in high school seeing her images come to life in darkroom chemicals. She received a Bachelor of Science in Journalism and a Bachelor of Arts in Visual Art Studies from the University of Florida (2015). Her formal training in photography and journalism inspired her to develop a practice of storytelling.

Andrea is an educator for the Boys and Girls Club of Palm Beach County and teaches photography classes to students K-12 in Delray Beach and Belle Glade, Florida. She has led educational trips with National Geographic Student Expeditions and Putney Student Travel to Barcelona, Ecuador and Costa Rica.

She is a student of the Eddie Adams Workshop XXXIII and a member of Women Photograph and WOPHA.
