Break free from rigid lines and discover a more spontaneous approach to drawing plants in this relaxed, social workshop! Learn watercolor painting techniques to create tropical plants of various shapes in this hands-on workshop. Based on tropical hues, this class will guide students step-by-step through:

• Mixing colors
• Laying out a composition
• Creating designs on paper

Inspired by my distinctive watercolor paintings of flora and plant life, I’m excited to share my techniques and see what you can create! This workshop is suitable for all levels, from beginners to experienced painters.

About the Instructor:

Majoring in Illustration at Savannah College of Art & Design, I started my journey working as a textile designer for six years in Atlanta, GA. After lots of soul searching I jumped into a career of painting in 2013. I have been doing so full time since selling fine art, prints, and licensing my work.

The natural world is so beautiful and I hope my art is a reflection of that sentiment.
