Cherie Saleeby often referenced herself as a sculptor. Now over the years, Saleeby has become more of a multi-disciplinary artist with no material off limits – tar, rubber, and marble included. She explores spaces that become installations of reflection. Cherie has experience in Public Art, having been awarded the Duane Hanson Allied Artist grant. Her responsibilities were to oversee the construction of an amphitheater and other artistic features in Mirimar, FL. Two of her original seating sculptures in massive coral rock, can be seen in the park. Additionally, Cherie has studied with Bernard Venet, an icon in metal sculptures.
