Arts Warehouse invites youth groups up to 25 students to visit for See & Do Sessions!
This event is a tour of the current art exhibitions, and artist studio hallways at Arts Warehouse. Following the tour, students will participate in an artist-led art project coordinating with the art they will see in the gallery. See & Do Sessions is best for youth ages 6 – 18.
SEE: The first step at Arts Warehouse is to SEE! The gallery art shows at Arts Warehouse change every few months, so there is always something new to see. The artwork displayed showcases many different art mediums and subjects, allowing for visitors to learn about art fundamentals, and interesting facts about the artwork and artists they will be seeing. Additionally, a special part of Arts Warehouse are the artist studios. The group will have a chance to peek through the windows of 14 different artists’ studios and see a glimpse into what their artwork and art studio is like. A few of the artists will be available to answer questions and share with the group their experience being a professional artist.
DO: The final stop during See & Do sessions is the DO! The group will be led through a fun hands-on art project that will coordinate with art they saw in the exhibit. The art project is something that the students will be able to take home with them.
