This monthly workshop is ideal for young artists ages 5 – 10 and their adult family member
Immerse yourself in the world of watercolor and explore shapes and colors in this first ever Family workshop, “Plant Play with Watercolor”. Join us for a delightful artistic journey where young artists and their family’s will learn some basic techniques and most importantly have fun using watercolor paint on paper to create your own botanical designs.
Under the guidance of instructor Jenny K of Living Pattern, you’ll learn the fundamentals of watercolor painting techniques specifically tailored for the younger creatives and their family members.
By the end of this workshop, you’ll have a a few watercolor paintings to take home!
*Adults must stay through the duration of the workshop, children should not be dropped off
*Upon arrival, adults will sign a participant’s release
In this workshop you’ll learn how to:
– Use watercolor
– Understand materials such as watercolor paint and paper
– Understand different tree shapes
– Capture nature with different brush techniques
– Have fun!
Family Programs will be offered every 3rd Saturday of the month, 11am – 12pm! Each month will have a different theme and medium.

About the Instructor:
Majoring in Illustration at Savannah College of Art & Design, I started my journey working as a textile designer for six years in Atlanta, GA. After lots of soul searching I jumped into a career of painting in 2013. I have been doing so full time since selling fine art, prints, and licensing my work.
The natural world is so beautiful and I hope my art is a reflection of that sentiment.
