Workshop | Abstracted Landscape Collage 2-Day

Have you ever wanted to cut, glue and arrange shapes? Using your own painted work you will have fun collaging an art piece!
This class has two sessions:
- Thursday January 15th 10:30AM – 12:30PM
- Friday January 16th 10:30AM – 12:30PM
$95 fee covers both dates!

This class has two sessions.
In the first class we will paint a few abstract landscapes on paper using palette knives, sponges, saran wrap and brushes .
This is a very quick free flowing exercise, with no thinking about composition, just enjoying using color and different textural techniques.
In the second class we will cut up our work and arrange them into a landscape or if preferred an abstract composition
This is a class for all levels including beginners and allows for play and experimentation.

Instructor Biography
JOCELYN CHEMEL
Jocelyn was born in South Africa and lived in Boston for over 30 years and has recently moved to Delray Beach. Jocelyn studied design, printmaking and mixed media at the Museum School in Boston. She also taught decorative painting techniques for many years as well as mixed media to children.
