Watercolor for Everyone
July 30 @ 1:00 pm - 5:00 pm$60
Learn watercolor painting techniques and create your own art in this overview of the medium.
Watercolor painting is the most accessible way for artists to start painting, yet it’s also very versatile, offering a way to expand and explore.
This workshop is for anyone with an interest in painting with watercolor. Whether it’s your first time, or you’re more advanced, we will cover a broad range of techniques and materials that cover the basics to the more experimental. Samples of different styles of painting will be shown, along with hands-on demonstrations of techniques and materials. Different types and brands of watercolor papers and brushes will also be covered, to explain the specific effect each can provide.
This workshop is geared to meet each participant’s needs while learning to enjoy the meditative process of working with watercolor.
All materials will be provided! Students will leave with various watercolor studies on paper after the workshop.
** In the event of a cancellation more than seventy two (72) hours prior to the event date, the applicant will receive a refund of the ticket fee. No refund will be given if less than seventy two (72) hours notice of the cancellation is given.
