Looking for a hands-on, immersive way to sharpen your photography skills? Join photographer and resident artist Andrea Sarcos for this two-day workshop designed for beginner to intermediate photographers who want to deepen their technical knowledge, strengthen their creative eye, and walk away with tangible results.

What to Expect:

Day 1 – Wednesday, August 27 (5–8 PM)

  • Introduction & Lesson (5–6:30 PM):
Dive into compositional techniques and the exposure triangle. Learn how to use shutter speed and aperture to capture depth and movement, explore the concept of visual language, and study inspiring examples from other photographers.
  • Photo Walk (6:30–8 PM):
We’ll head just a few blocks away to Old School Square in downtown Delray to practice shooting in real time—complete with the energy of the community drum circle. Expect guided prompts and one-on-one tips from Andrea as you experiment with new skills.

Day 2 – Thursday, August 28 (5–7 PM)

  • Photo Review & Editing (5–6 PM):
Upload your shots from the day before and learn the basics of editing in Lightroom, including sequencing and selecting your strongest images.
  • Final Group Critique (6–7 PM):
Print your best photographs and share them in a supportive critique session. This collaborative review will help you refine your approach, gain new perspectives, and celebrate the images you’ve created.

What You’ll Gain:

  • A working knowledge of exposure and composition
  • Practice capturing dynamic movement and natural depth
  • Hands-on experience shooting on location in a lively downtown setting
  • An introduction to editing and sequencing in Lightroom
  • Printed images you can take home

✨ Two evenings, one creative journey—you’ll leave inspired and more confident behind the lens.
