You’re invited! The Art Ball will be held in honor of Mental Health Awareness Month in May, a time to help break the stigma of mental illness and to encourage people to get the help they need.
Special performances throughout the event including step dancing, youth choir, fashion shows, presentations and more. The night will finish with music and dancing!
What to expect: Attendees can look forward to special performances from Palm Beach County talent, special giveaways, and a live DJ for dancing. There is also the SUPER Group Art Exhibition on display, featuring 21 artists selected from an Open Call for Art whose work is reflecting on different aspects of mental health whether personal or in community. The exhibition features different mediums including video, painting, mixed media, and sculpture.
Extra fun: Since the theme is Super, we are encouraging guests to wear their favorite superhero costume or create a new mental health superhero. Make sure to do your best, because the person who is “Best Expressed” will receive a special award. Each guest will pay no admission to attend. Wear anything Green, Dress like your favorite super hero or create one!
