Eric Vaughn-Flam has been a business, copyright, trademark advertising and software lawyer for 30 years. He represents some of the top artists in the world, both in transactions and litigation.

Eric brings to our community a wealth of knowledge on exclusively owning intellectual property. Intellectual property (IP) refers to creations of the mind, such as inventions; literary and artistic works; designs; and symbols, names and images.

Eric has previously distinguished himself:
— in a music infringement action concerning Madonna’s hit Song “Holiday,” where for the first time ring tone technology was utilized as a critical element in the prosecution of a music infringement claim
— having won an appeal in the case Dallal v. The NY Times, concerning copyright issues as applied to the internet,
— and representing the plaintiff in Hootie and the Blowfish v. Newman, in what is regarded as the largest management dispute on record
–and as lead litigation counsel in the much publicized multi-national securities lawsuit Daiwa Securities v. RCMCAF Ltd.
