Abstract Acrylic Painting in a Neutral Palette

Join Janie Reisler for a FULL DAY WORKSHOP using a NEUTRALS PALLETTE. We will focus on creating an Abstract Painting using Pantone’s Color of the YEAR, Mocha Mousseas well as white to black in many hues and values. Janie will teach you all the basic elements of Abstract Painting which include preparation of the canvas, color mixing and blending, techniques using brushes and palette knives etc. Medium sized canvas to produce the piece will be provided. A final project will be completed in the session.

This workshop is for every level of experience.

About the Instructor:

Janie Reisler is a new resident to South Florida coming from Montreal, Canada. She is an artist, graphic designer, graduate art historian and educator and has been teaching many art styles for over 30 years. These styles include classical life drawing, 3D design, fashion illustration, drawing from the live model, decorative painting, collage, recycled/upcycled art and currently the trending, MIXED MEDIA/ STREET ART STYLE. She is thrilled to bring her passion and expertise to the Arts Warehouse in DELRAY BEACH.
