While You Were Away

While You Were Away brought together ten resident artists from our resident studio program to celebrate the re-opening of Arts Warehouse after seven months of being closed amidst the COVID-19 pandemic.

This unique exhibition existed outdoors throughout the Delray Beach downtown area consisting of ten freestanding prints made by the ten resident artists in the previous year. Works included consisted of varying mediums and subject matter that played off one another with the goal to bring art to safe spaces outdoors during COVID-19 restrictions and to activate new areas in the Delray Beach downtown/Delray Beach CRA District.

In totality, While You Were Away showcased that during times of uncertainty, there was still creativity.
