Making Pocket Sketchbooks
For you or to gift!
Sketchbooks are an artist’s number one companion. An object as special (and as vital) as a sketch book deserves to be its own work of art! In this workshop, participants will create their own small-scale (3.5 x 5”) pocket sketchbook that can be taken anywhere! Small enough to fit in your back pocket, it’s the perfect tool for when you’re on the go and inspiration strikes. Learn a simple saddle stitch bookbinding technique to craft your own set of pocket sketchbooks. No experience is needed.
Materials provided:
● Assorted Cardstock ● Printer Paper ● Large Eye Sewing Needles ● Bone Folder ● Awl ● Waxed Thread (Black, Brown or White) ● Corner Rounder ● Paper Cutter
Students are encouraged to bring their own papers or cardstock to make the covers. This could be handmade papers, recycled thin cardboard i.e. cereal boxes etc. If you do not have anything to bring, that’s fine too. Arts Warehouse will provide.

No refund will be given if requested less than seventy two (72) hours until scheduled workshop time for any reason. Only one ticket transfer will be allowed per person per workshop type, and will only occur if requested outside of the 72 hour mark of the registered workshop.
