In the White Box Gallery Adrienne Walker & Karen H. Salup As Abstract Expressionists the artists concentrate on the acts involved in creating artworks, rather than trying to produce specific images or ideas. The gestures, colors, and actions used to produce the works then lead to a theme or subject. Through the series of work 9 CRIMES SUGARCOATED, Kristin Pavlick continues her exploration of visual culture by questioning - how much does it impact our decision making process? Pavlick sees our visual culture as an intentional veil that separates us from the truth—encouraging us to act upon a deeply reinforced value system that is imposed upon us. Kristin challenges you to look through the playful imagery…

Desert Triangle Print Carpeta

July 6, 2018 - August 11, 2018

From deep in the heart of the dry Southwest, 30 artists from Tucson, Albuquerque and El Paso surface in the "Desert Triangle Print Carpeta" exhibition.  No cowboy art taints this portfolio -- though these large prints were commissioned with an open theme  (abstract work discouraged).  Rather most of the colorful serigraphs, relief prints and lithograph enjoy more of a Mexican-American flavor, resonating better with Florida's Spanish roots.  Three of the serigraphs have been animated by an "augmented reality" app, and push…

White Room Gallery – July Exhibition

July 6, 2018 - July 31, 2018

“Black of the Land and Free” Exhibition

February 20 @ 1:00 pm - March 31 @ 7:00 pm

Black of the Land and Free Feb 20th - Mar 31st   As a mixed-race woman of color growing up in today’s America I seek my own freedom within wild spaces. Feet in the soil framing shots and exploring nature is where I feel most liberated. These photos were taken in Barbados and the Philippines, the island landscapes of my mixed cultural heritage. I took these trips in response to an impetus to discover what it truly felt like to…
