Abstract Workshop 1 | Color Theory

June 3rd – Color Theory | Develop values in acrylic colors and intuitive design.
In this series you will commit to further developing your practice and getting outside the box. Each workshop focuses on a topic/technique. NOTE Students do not need to attend all four workshops. Karen H Salup will teach in a supportive and friendly way encouraging you to explore them in a spontaneous way with an emphasis on the element and/or principal of the week. ALL LEVELS WELCOME.
Each workshop will be on a Monday from 10:30am – 1:30pm. Pick and choose which workshop applies to your artistic practice or register for all four. Please bring a lunch, snack and drink if you like.
Each workshop will require: recommended 24×24 size canvas, a variety of brushes, towel, paper towels, acrylic paints, pallet knives, pallet or pallet paper, water container, newspaper, and watercolor paper. *Artists are responsible for their own supplies

Registration will close 3 days prior to the workshop date. Refunds for cancelled registrations will be given up to 7 days prior to workshop date.

What are my transportation/parking options for getting to and from the event?
Event Parking: Free Street parking along 3rd Street and 3rd Avenue is free. There are two Free public parking lots marked in yellow on the map below which are north of Arts Warehouse on 3rd Avenue. Arts Warehouse is a short walk from the main downtown areas and Pineapple Grove garages. PLEASE do not park in the dirt parking lot at the northwest corner of 3rd & 3rd (denoted with a red X on map below) as it is not a public parking lot.
The use of Uber, Katcharide and carpooling is encouraged.
