Artist Statement:

As a visual artist working within the realm of Afro-surrealism, I explore the Black experience, examining the psychological depths of the unconscious mind while intertwining with the tangible aspects of reality. Through abstract forms, vibrant colors, and dynamic body language, I challenge conventional narratives, weaving stories that resonate across both historical and contemporary contexts. In my series, I delve into the complexities of Black culture, examining themes such as mental health, political rights, and social inequality. My work is an ongoing journey, a tribute to the rich, multifaceted nature of our existence, inviting viewers to engage with the diverse stories that shape our identities.
