SCENE: The History

A platform for local and budding photographers, SCENE first took place on April 21st, 2017 and brought creatives and party goers alike together with music and art. It was held on the 3rd Friday of every month at Wine Scene in downtown West Palm Beach, Florida. In it’s first year, SCENE gathered over 3,564 unique attendees, and has earned a reputation for its unique atmosphere- distinct from the usual art scene or downtown club. Exhibitors, many who display their work for the first time publicly, enjoy creative freedom to make their exhibit interactive and distinctive while networking with attendees who relish in good music and conversation.

The theme of this year’s SCENE is Minority Surrealism.

Surrealism: depicting unnerving, illogical scenes to allow the unconscious mind to express itself.

Ideas could revolve around irrationalities of the pandemic, irrationalities that cause racism and prejudice, irrational views of women, irrational views of progress.
